Our Cotton
Everything we make is 100% cotton, in two weaves: 200-thread-count percale and 300-thread-count sateen. No blends and no synthetic fibres. We use long-staple cotton for both, because the length of the fibre, along with the weave, is what actually determines how a sheet feels and how long it lasts. Our fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
Two fabrics, one fibre
We keep the range deliberately narrow: two weaves of the same honest fibre. Percale is crisp and cool; sateen is smooth and lightly lustrous. Both are pure cotton, from the same source, kept simple and honest.

A note on “organic”
Our cotton is not organic, and we will not imply that it is. What we do hold is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, which speaks directly to what a careful buyer is usually checking for: that the fabric has been tested for harmful substances and is safe against the skin. We would rather name a certification we actually have.

Is your bedding 100% cotton?

Is it organic cotton?
No. Our cotton is not organic. It is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, which means it has been tested for harmful substances and meets the standard for safe skin contact.
Why does pure cotton feel different?
Because it is honest cotton rather than a blend dressed up to feel like something else. It starts crisp or smooth depending on the weave, and softens with use.
