Matching Parent & Child Sets
Summer Meadow and Daisy & Bee are the same design made twice, at two scales, in two fabrics: Summer Meadow in 300-thread-count cotton sateen for Queen and King beds, Daisy & Bee in 200-thread-count cotton percale for Twin and Full/Double. Buying both gives a parent's room and a child's room the same motif without giving them the same bed.
One motif, two beds
Matching bedding across a household is usually done badly, in one of two ways. Either the adult bed gets a scaled-up version of a children's design and looks like a nursery, or the child gets a shrunken adult design and finds nothing in it to like. Summer Meadow and Daisy & Bee solve it by being genuinely different objects that share a motif. The daisies on Daisy & Bee are close together, brighter, and hiding a bee - drawn for a child looking at the bed from eighteen inches away.
On Summer Meadow the same daisy is set wide apart with the stitch density stepped down, so from the doorway of an adult bedroom it reads as texture rather than pattern. The fabrics differ for the same reason. A child's bed wants percale: cooler, tougher in the wash, sharper on a small motif. An adult bed at Queen or King wants sateen: deeper colour, closer drape, a low sheen that suits a larger surface. This is not an upsell invented after the fact. Summer Meadow exists because Daisy & Bee worked, and we wanted the adult version.
Common questions
Do the two sets look identical?
No, and deliberately so. They share the daisy motif but differ in scale, spacing, stitch density, fabric and colour depth. They read as a pair rather than as a duplicate.
Can I buy them as a bundle?
Not as a single purchase. Summer Meadow and Daisy & Bee are ordered as two separate sets, in the sizes that suit each bed.
Which sizes pair together?
Daisy & Bee is made in Twin and Full/Double. Summer Meadow is made in Queen and King. Any combination of the two works.
Are other designs available as pairs?
Not as designed pairs, but With Love is made in Twin, Full/Double and Queen, so a child's bed and a main bed can share exactly the same design in the same fabric.
