Size Guide
Every Kashukuma set contains seven pieces. Below are the finished dimensions of each, in every size we make. Sateen designs are made in Queen and King; percale designs in Twin, Full/Double and Queen.
Bed size comparisons
Our bed linen is made in four sizes, Twin, Full/Double, Queen and King. Percale sets come in Twin, Full/Double and Queen; sateen sets in Queen and King. Fitted sheets have a 15-inch (38 cm) pocket depth. Full finished dimensions for every piece are in the tables below, in inches and centimetres.
Twin vs Twin XL
A Twin mattress is 38" × 75"; a Twin XL is 38" × 80", five inches longer, same width. Our Twin sets are cut for a standard 39" × 75" Twin. If your bed is a Twin XL (common in dorms and adjustable beds), the flat sheet and duvet cover fit but the fitted sheet will be five inches short, size up if in doubt.
Queen vs King
A Queen mattress is 60" × 80"; a King is 76" × 80", sixteen inches wider, same length. Choose King for a larger primary bedroom; our King is sateen only.
Full vs Queen
A Full/Double is 54" wide; a Queen is 60". We make some designs in Full/Double and some only in Queen. If you want more overhang on a Full bed you can take a Queen flat sheet and duvet cover, but our fitted sheets are size-specific and will not fit a smaller mattress correctly.

- Fitted sheets are made with a 15″ (38 cm) pocket depth, which fits mattresses up to approximately 14″ deep including a mattress protector.
- Pillow shams are cut to the same dimensions as pillowcases in the corresponding size.
- King sets take a larger pillowcase and sham (22.5″ × 38″) than all other sizes.
All dimensions are of the finished piece. Because our linen is 100% cotton, expect a small amount of natural shrinkage, typically 2– 4%, on first wash. Our patterns are cut with this allowed for.
Which size do I need?
- Twin, 39″ × 75″ mattress. Children’s and single beds.
- Full/Double, 54″ × 75″ mattress.
- Queen, 60″ × 80″ mattress. Our most-requested size, and the only size made in both fabrics.
- King, 78″ × 80″ mattress. Sateen only. If you are choosing between Full/Double and Queen for a Full bed and prefer more overhang, take the Queen flat sheet and duvet cover, but note that our fitted sheets are size-specific and will not fit a smaller mattress correctly.
A note on our measurements
We cut our flat sheets and duvet covers slightly more generously than most of the market. Our Queen flat sheet is 96″ × 106″ where the industry norm sits closer to 96″ × 102″, and our King is 110″ × 106″. The extra length is deliberate: it is what allows a flat sheet to tuck properly at the foot of a deep mattress without pulling free at the shoulders.
